Er definiert einen gemeinsamen Satz von Funktionen, die jeder Token implementieren muss, etwa transfer, balance und approve, sodass jedes Wallet, jede B\u00f6rse oder jeder <a href=\"https:\/\/volity.io\/de\/glossar\/what-is-a-smart-contract\/\">Smart Contract<\/a> jeden ERC-20-Token ohne speziellen Code handhaben kann. Fungibel bedeutet, jede Einheit ist mit jeder anderen austauschbar, so wie ein Dollar jedem anderen Dollar entspricht.<\/p>\n<h2>Rechenbeispiel<\/h2>\n<p>Ein neues Projekt startet seinen Token als ERC-20-Contract. Weil er dem Standard folgt, funktioniert er sofort in MetaMask, listet auf dezentralen B\u00f6rsen und klinkt sich in Lending-Protokolle ein, ohne Integrationsarbeit. Die Stablecoins <a href=\"https:\/\/volity.io\/de\/glossar\/what-is-usdt\/\">USDT<\/a> und <a href=\"https:\/\/volity.io\/de\/glossar\/what-is-usdc\/\">USDC<\/a> sind ERC-20-Token auf Ethereum, mit ein Grund, warum sie sich so frei durch das \u00d6kosystem bewegen.<\/p>\n<h2>ERC-20 versus die native Coin<\/h2>\n<p>ETH selbst ist kein ERC-20-Token; es ist der native Wert der Chain, der das Gas zahlt.
