La orden queda dormida hasta que el mercado toca el disparo. En ese momento, se activa como orden limitada al precio l\u00edmite. Se ejecuta al l\u00edmite o mejor, nunca peor. Si el mercado gapea a trav\u00e9s del l\u00edmite, la orden no se ejecuta y la posici\u00f3n original sigue abierta.<\/p>\n<h2>Ejemplo<\/h2>\n<p>Mantienes un largo EUR\/USD a 1,0856. Fijas un stop-limit con disparo 1,0820 y l\u00edmite 1,0815. El precio cae a 1,0820 y activa la orden. Vender\u00e1 a 1,0815 o mejor. Si el precio se mantiene entre 1,0820 y 1,0815, te ejecutan. Si el precio gapea de 1,0820 directo a 1,0810, tu orden no se ejecuta y permaneces largo mientras el mercado sigue bajando. Renunciaste a protecci\u00f3n de gap a cambio de no vender a precio de p\u00e1nico.<\/p>\n<h2>Por qu\u00e9 importa<\/h2>\n<p>El stop-limit es la elecci\u00f3n correcta cuando quieres un nivel de stop pero rechazas aceptar slippage catastr\u00f3fico en un movimiento r\u00e1pido.
