Convierte el beneficio total en una cifra por acci\u00f3n, para comparar la rentabilidad de empresas de distinto tama\u00f1o y seguirla en el tiempo. El BPA es el motor bajo el <a href=\"https:\/\/volity.io\/es\/glosario\/what-is-pe-ratio\/\">ratio precio\/beneficio<\/a> y la cifra en torno a la cual se construyen la mayor\u00eda de las previsiones de analistas y las sorpresas de resultados.<\/p>\n<h2>Ejemplo num\u00e9rico<\/h2>\n<p>Una empresa gana 500 millones de beneficio neto con 250 millones de acciones en circulaci\u00f3n, un BPA de 2,00 $. Si recompra 50 millones de acciones, el mismo beneficio se reparte entre 200 millones de acciones, elevando el BPA a 2,50 $ sin cambio en el negocio subyacente. Por eso las recompras favorecen el BPA, y por eso se lee junto a los ingresos, no de forma aislada.<\/p>\n<h2>BPA diluido frente a b\u00e1sico<\/h2>\n<p>El BPA b\u00e1sico usa las acciones actuales; el BPA diluido tambi\u00e9n cuenta opciones, warrants y convertibles que podr\u00edan convertirse en acciones, dando una cifra m\u00e1s conservadora. Compara siempre las empresas sobre la misma base.
