Los futuros y las opciones tienen fechas de expiraci\u00f3n fijas fijadas por la bolsa; en la fecha de expiraci\u00f3n el contrato se liquida, ya sea por entrega del subyacente o, mucho m\u00e1s a menudo, por liquidaci\u00f3n en efectivo de la diferencia.
