Para preservar la equivalencia econ\u00f3mica, los brokers acreditan posiciones CFD largas en la fecha ex con el dividendo (menos retenci\u00f3n fiscal en algunas plazas) y debitan posiciones cortas el mismo monto. Resultado neto: el P&#038;L del trader CFD largo no se ve afectado por la ca\u00edda en la fecha ex; el trader CFD corto paga por el beneficio de pr\u00e9stamo de estar efectivamente corto la acci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s del dividendo.<\/p>\n<h2>Ejemplo<\/h2>\n<p>Un trader est\u00e1 largo un CFD sobre 1.000 acciones Coca-Cola (KO) a 60 $. KO declara un dividendo trimestral de 0,46 $ con fecha ex lunes. El lunes ex, KO abre a unos 59,54 $ (ca\u00edda de precio de 0,46 $). El mark-to-market del trader refleja la ca\u00edda del precio: \u2212460 $ no realizado. Simult\u00e1neamente, el broker acredita 460 $ como ajuste de dividendo. Efecto neto: cero. Un trader corto ve la ca\u00edda del precio como una ganancia no realizada de +460 $, pero luego paga 460 $ de ajuste de dividendo, neteando tambi\u00e9n a cero.
