Sur les paires en yen, c&rsquo;est la deuxi\u00e8me d\u00e9cimale (0,01). Les courtiers cotent aussi un pip fractionnaire, ou pipette, une d\u00e9cimale plus petite, d&rsquo;o\u00f9 des prix comme 1,08567. Les pips servent \u00e0 mesurer les spreads, les stops et les cibles, c&rsquo;est donc le langage commun de chaque trade forex.<\/p>\n<h2>Exemple chiffr\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>Vous achetez l&rsquo;EUR\/USD \u00e0 1,08500 et il monte \u00e0 1,08550. C&rsquo;est un mouvement de 5 pips. Sur un <a href=\"https:\/\/volity.io\/fr\/glossaire\/what-is-lot-size\/\">lot<\/a> standard de 100 000 unit\u00e9s, un pip vaut environ 10 $, donc le mouvement de 5 pips vaut \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s 50 $. Sur un mini-lot, environ 1 $ par pip, et sur un micro-lot, environ 0,10 $. La valeur du pip \u00e9volue avec la taille de position, c&rsquo;est pourquoi le dimensionnement se d\u00e9cide en lots.<\/p>\n<h2>Pourquoi les pips comptent pour le co\u00fbt et le risque<\/h2>\n<p>Chaque co\u00fbt se cote en pips.
