Vous tradez toujours l&rsquo;une contre l&rsquo;autre. Acheter EUR\/USD signifie \u00eatre long euros et short dollars en m\u00eame temps. Vendez EUR\/USD et vous inversez les deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s. Le prix de la paire est un ratio : combien d&rsquo;unit\u00e9s de la devise de contrepartie une unit\u00e9 de la devise de base vaut \u00e0 cet instant.<\/p>\n<h2>Exemple<\/h2>\n<p>EUR\/USD = 1,0856. EUR est la base, USD est la contrepartie. Pour ouvrir un mini-lot, vous prenez 10 000 euros d&rsquo;exposition et shortez l&rsquo;\u00e9quivalent en dollars. Si EUR\/USD monte \u00e0 1,0900, les euros que vous tenez valent plus de dollars et vous gagnez. S&rsquo;il baisse \u00e0 1,0800, vous perdez. Le montant en dollars de chaque mouvement de pip est fix\u00e9 par la devise de contrepartie, c&rsquo;est pourquoi les paires en USD sont simples et les paires cot\u00e9es en JPY demandent un calcul diff\u00e9rent de la valeur du pip.<\/p>\n<h2>Trois cat\u00e9gories<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Majeures :<\/strong> toute paire impliquant l&rsquo;USD et l&rsquo;une des sept plus grandes devises (EUR, JPY, GBP, AUD, CAD, CHF, NZD). Liquidit\u00e9 maximale, spreads les plus serr\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mineures (croisements) :<\/strong> paires entre devises majeures sans USD, comme EUR\/GBP ou AUD\/JPY. Spreads un peu plus larges, toujours liquides.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Exotiques :<\/strong> une majeure coupl\u00e9e \u00e0 une devise \u00e9mergente, comme USD\/TRY ou EUR\/PLN. Spreads larges, gappy, dirig\u00e9s par les news.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Pourquoi c&rsquo;est important<\/h2>\n<p>Choisir la bonne paire d\u00e9cide du co\u00fbt, de la volatilit\u00e9 et des horaires de trading. Les majeures se tradent 24 heures avec des spreads de 0,6 \u00e0 1,5 pip. Les exotiques peuvent avoir 30 pips de spread et des gaps overnight qui cr\u00e8vent les stops.
