Le r\u00e9seau utilise votre stake comme collat\u00e9ral \u00e9conomique pour s\u00e9curiser le consensus : si le validateur se comporte mal, une partie de votre stake est confisqu\u00e9e (slashing). En retour, le r\u00e9seau paie un rendement, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement 3 \u00e0 8 pour cent par an libell\u00e9 dans le token stak\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2>Exemple<\/h2>\n<p>Vous stakez 10 ETH \u00e0 un rendement annuel de 4 pour cent. Apr\u00e8s un an, vous avez 10,4 ETH, avant tout changement du prix d&rsquo;ETH en dollars. Si ETH monte de 50 pour cent dans l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e, votre valeur en dollars monte d&rsquo;environ 56 pour cent (prix + rendement compos\u00e9). Si ETH baisse de 50 pour cent, vous tenez toujours 10,4 ETH mais \u00e0 une valeur dollars bien plus basse. Le rendement ne prot\u00e8ge pas du risque de prix.<\/p>\n<h2>Pourquoi c&rsquo;est important<\/h2>\n<p>Le staking transforme des avoirs dormants en actifs porteurs de rendement sans vendre. Le compromis : la liquidit\u00e9. La plupart des r\u00e9seaux imposent une p\u00e9riode de d\u00e9blocage de 1 \u00e0 28 jours.
