Le carnet d’ordres d’un exchange maintient chaque ordre limite actif, tri\u00e9 par prix et temps. La profondeur de march\u00e9 affiche la portion visible de ce carnet : typiquement les 5, 10 ou 20 meilleurs niveaux de chaque c\u00f4t\u00e9, avec le volume agr\u00e9g\u00e9 \u00e0 chaque. Certaines places n’exposent que le niveau sup\u00e9rieur ; d’autres streament le carnet entier. Les ordres iceberg cach\u00e9s ne montrent qu’une fraction de leur taille r\u00e9elle, ce qui limite la fiabilit\u00e9 de la profondeur.<\/p>\n

Profondeur BTC\/USDT sur un grand exchange : meilleur bid 43 000 avec 50 BTC, bid suivant 42 990 avec 80 BTC, suivant 42 980 avec 120 BTC. Pourquoi c’est important<\/h2>\n

La profondeur vous dit le vrai co\u00fbt d’un gros ordre avant de cliquer. Les backtests utilisant les prix midpoint sous-estiment syst\u00e9matiquement le co\u00fbt d’ex\u00e9cution sur taille ; les backtests conscients de la profondeur sont plus honn\u00eates.
