Il indique combien de dollars les investisseurs paient pour chaque dollar de profit annuel, la lecture rapide la plus courante du caract\u00e8re bon march\u00e9 ou cher d&rsquo;une action. Un PER de 15 signifie que vous payez 15 $ pour chaque 1 $ de b\u00e9n\u00e9fice annuel ; plus le nombre est \u00e9lev\u00e9, plus le march\u00e9 price de croissance.<\/p>\n<h2>Exemple chiffr\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>L&rsquo;action A cote 30 $ avec 2 $ de BPA, soit un PER de 15. L&rsquo;action B cote 200 $ avec 4 $ de BPA, soit un PER de 50. B est bien plus ch\u00e8re par dollar de profit, m\u00eame si les deux sont rentables : le march\u00e9 attend de B une croissance bien plus rapide. Si cette croissance d\u00e9\u00e7oit, le PER \u00e9lev\u00e9 de B se comprime et le prix peut chuter fort, m\u00eame \u00e0 b\u00e9n\u00e9fices stables.<\/p>\n<h2>Pourquoi le PER exige un groupe de pairs<\/h2>\n<p>Un PER ne veut pas dire grand-chose seul ; il ne signale bon march\u00e9 ou cher que face \u00e0 l&rsquo;historique de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et \u00e0 son secteur. Un PER de 40 est normal pour un logiciel rapide et alarmant pour un service public. Utilisez le PER historique (b\u00e9n\u00e9fices pass\u00e9s) et le PER prospectif (pr\u00e9vu) ensemble.
