Le broker quote un prix bid et ask suivant le sous-jacent. Le P&#038;L s&rsquo;accumule en temps r\u00e9el sur la diff\u00e9rence du notionnel. Pour cl\u00f4turer, le trader prend le trade oppos\u00e9. La position se r\u00e8gle en cash ; aucune action ou mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re ne change de mains. Le financement overnight s&rsquo;applique aux positions tenues au-del\u00e0 du cutoff quotidien.<\/p>\n<h2>Exemple<\/h2>\n<p>Un trader ouvre un CFD long sur Apple \u00e0 180 $ pour un notionnel de 100 actions (18 000 $), postant 10 pour cent de marge (1 800 $). Apple monte \u00e0 185 $. P&#038;L = (185 \u2212 180) \u00d7 100 = +500 $, un rendement de 27 pour cent sur la marge depuis un mouvement de 2,8 pour cent sur le sous-jacent. Apple tombe \u00e0 175 $ \u00e0 la place : P&#038;L = (175 \u2212 180) \u00d7 100 = \u2212500 $, une perte de 27 pour cent sur la marge.
